The Cellular Backup Communicator provides backup connectivity for the BP52 Alarm Panel in the event of an internet outage. Because the BP52 operates locally with downstream devices such as expanders and keypads, only one cellular backup communicator is needed for the entire site to stay online. The cellular backup communicator is a CAT 6 LTE device that comes with a multi-carrier SIM card that works out of the box in many countries throughout the world. It can be installed within the BP52 through a built-in mount and connects to the panel via USB.
